Elan Makeup Studio is committed to training beginners and trained cosmetologists in the art of makeup artistry. Our Tier I Course is a demonstration and hands-on workshop. Elan’s trained instructors will teach you the correct tools and application techniques used for custom blending foundations, powders, acne coverage and the principles of highlighting and contouring face shapes. We discuss the importance of color theory, eye shapes, brown shapes, liner application and much more. This intensive course shows makeup artists how to create a day, natural look and make it into a sexy smokey eye or a retro-glam style.
Airbrush makeup is a highly requested service in all areas of the makeup industry, this portion of the course includes instruction on basic airbrush application for foundation, concealer, highlighting and contouring, eye shadow, brow & stencil work and cleaning your machine.
Tools required: Professional 10-piece minimum brush set.
Tools provided: Professional makeup kit is provided for students to use during the course, student workbook is given for reference. A certificate of completion is given after the Tier One Course.
