Elan Makeup Studio is committed to training beginners and trained cosmetologists in the art of makeup. Our Tier I Course is a demonstration and hands-on workshop. Elan Makeup Studio instructors will teach you the correct tools and application techniques used for custom blending foundations, powders, acne coverage and the principles of highlighting and contouring face shapes. We discuss the importance of color theory, eye shapes, brow shapes, liner application and much more. This intensive course shows makeup artists how to create a day natural look and make it into a sexy smokey eye or a retro-glam style. Airbrush makeup is a highly requested service in all areas of the makeup industry, this portion of the course will include basic airbrush foundation application, concealer work, highlighting and contouring, airbrush eyeshadow and eyeliner techniques, brow stencil work, cleaning your machine and how to create and cover tattoos.
